Trumpeter Marcus Printup has been a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis for 23 years, and he is a world-renowned soloist and composer with numerous albums as a leader. His latest is Young Bloods, featuring a choice selection of rising star musicians. Each member of the band is an incredible young talent; earlier this month, for example, 23-year-old saxophonist Patrick Bartley leads The Timeless John Coltraneas part of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Miles and ‘Trane Festival.
